breakfast had a large selection. the leisure facilities were also fantastic, i was pleased. the staff were friendly, which i always appreciate.
the parking costed extra per night, which i thought was a bit much. my room did not have double glazing windows, not ideal. the extra double bed was just two single beds put together, i did not like that.

the hotel is consistent. it is a good safe bet for business travel. the gym is also pretty good. i appreciate that it hasn't changed much since my last stay years ago (back in 2014).
i wanted gluten-free beer, but it was not available. i also needed to ask for gluten-free food at breakfast. hopefully they can improve in this area to cater to guests with dietary restrictions.

the staff very kindly put a balloon and some snacks in our room for my son as it was his birthday. this was a lovely touch. he was also allowed to feed the ducks outside the hotel, a bonus as he loves ducks.
I found the bed a bit firm. the tv was nice and big, but the picture quality was very poor. It could be improved if it was on the network. also, there is a £15 parking charge for the night and this felt a bit steep.
